Dr. Sobia Ali grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and completed her fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Following her fellowship, she served as an Associate Professor at the University of Iowa before relocating to Tampa, Florida, with her husband and three children.

A published researcher, Dr. Ali is deeply engaged in teaching and advancing education within her field. Since beginning her practice in 2009, she has developed a strong focus on managing abdominal pain, inflammatory bowel diseases, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, and hepatitis B and C.

In her spare time, Dr. Ali enjoys playing chess, reading, and spending quality time with her family. She is also committed to community service, frequently volunteering at the Red Crescent Clinic, which provides free healthcare to low-income families.
